Internship Ways.

Before I’m telling you what comes next after the reinesance day, I’d like to telling you guys about the reason behind my way up to this internship position.

Yang gue inget pada waktu itu adalah masa-masa dimana kota Jakarta sangat menyenangkan untuk dijelajahi. Karena ketika masa itu datang , Jakarta menjadi kota yang sepi dari hiruk pikuk yang menjenuhkan dan keadaan yang membuat stress ketika kita keluar rumah. Tapi engga untuk masa itu.

So I traveling around Jakarta, enjoying the moment searching for a barbershop, to be honest.

Gue keliling ke tempat dimana berbagai tempat cukur yang mumpuni berada. It’s turn out , im not finding ones.

Perubahan rencana terjadi. Gue mulai mencari sesuatu yang mungkin bisa berguna untuk diri gue di masa yang akan datang. Jadi gue beralih untuk ke toko buku yang selalu gue datengin untuk ngecek perkembangan dunia atau ngebuat list buku-buku apa aja yang mungkin akan gue beli nantinya kalo gue udah punya duit cukup.

I found one book that catch me in the eye. And moreover, catch me in my heart.

This book shouting the things that we” should and must” proud to be ourself. We should embrace it . Especially as Indonesians. This book contains all deep and intimate interview result from all creative people in Indonesia, that makes a wave and vibe through the live we living  as Indonesian.

When I saw that book, I feel connected. I feel like I’m sitting in the middle of the room full of with these creative people and talking with another, talking about their principles, ideas, their hearts, their passion , their differences, their similarity, their effects, their purpose, means, ways, uniqueness ,connections, passions and you name it. All the things that maybe its not going to finish in a week.

Fast forwards, I bought that book.

 I used all my money left in my wallet. Hoping this book will give me some way to clear my vision and mission. Will give me some inspirations  and guidance to my next stage of life.

The result?

I’ve some new information about the company that running in the creative industry. For more important thing is, it’s local. A local company with a global client. It’s looks  like we have a same style, same vision, same spirits to be an Indonesians. 

I Send them a letter mail. For an intern vacancy.

 The other result?

I was in.

Working with the great people and the great opportunities.

So , here I am.

Sitting in the desk. Thinking about what next big steps I should make.
